FAQs

Boost/Slim Tea

How often should I take the teas for optimum results?
For optimum results you should take the Slim Tea every second day for the duration of the program (either 14 or 28 days). The Boost Tea should be taken every day for the duration of the program; this is so that you are receiving important nutrients that can be lost through the detox.

Is it safe to take when pregnant?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional before taking this product.

How often can you do the program?
The Zing Tea Slim and Boost Tea program can be used for a maximum of one 28-day period (or two 14-day programs).

We then recommend taking a one to two-week break before commencing again, allowing your body to fully absorb the benefits of the tea and ensure optimum results. During this break, consumption of our Boost Tea is recommended.

Zing Tea should not pose any health risk if taken correctly.

How long should I steep the tea for?
Infuse one tea bag in a cup of boiling water and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove the teabag and enjoy the delicious flavours.

How should I store the tea?
Store in a cool dry place to ensure high quality and great taste.

Can I add flavour to the tea?
You can add lemon, honey, or natural sweetener to enhance the taste, although it is not necessary to achieve maximum flavour.

Is it safe to use with the contraceptive pill?
Due to some ingredients in the Zing Tea Slim and Boost Tea program containing herbal laxatives, we recommend taking the pill five hours before or after consumption of tea. This measure should be taken to ensure accuracy.

Can you re-use the tea bags?
The qualities of the tea are diluted if the tea bag is re-used and as a result the benefits that the tea provides are lost. Therefore we advise against this practice to ensure optimal health benefits.

Is the tea suitable for children?
Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended but Zing Tea is suitable for both men and women.

Do the teas contain caffeine?
The Zing Tea Boost Tea is the only Zing Tea that contains caffeine. The white tea and yerba mate that are present in the Boost Tea contain low caffeine levels that assist in boosting energy and fighting fatigue.

Is there a diet plan available?
We do not currently have a diet plan, but recommend a healthy, balanced diet to maximise the effectiveness of the tea. At Zing Tea, we believe in healthy eating habits – please refer to www.eatforhealth.gov.au for Australian guide to healthy eating.

Staying hydrated throughout the program is crucial, so be sure to drink plenty of water.

Do the teas contain laxatives, or have laxative effects?
The ingredients Cassia angustifolia leaf and Rheum officinale, which are present in the Zing Tea Slim Tea range, may generate a natural cleansing effect in some drinkers.

If the herbal laxative effect is too much or does not seem to work, adjust the strength of the tea by reducing or increasing the steeping time. We recommend increasing/decreasing steep time for 30 seconds to 1 minute. The cleansing action will usually take effect 5-10 hours after consumption. This does not apply to Zing Boost Tea, which does not have a laxative effect.

Are the products listed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)?
Our Health Tea range is listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). The Therapeutic Goods Administration is a Commonwealth Government agency that regulates medical devices and drugs.

By listing with TGA, the tea is considered a therapeutic product, as opposed to a food product. This means the tea is accountable and is regulated by its strict guidelines.

Where is Zing Tea made?
Zing Tea is proudly Australian owned and manufactured from imported ingredients.
